Daddies little helpers

The kids love to be out in the snow, and they love to help. Here they are helping Todd shovel before they head off to work and school for the day!

Cookin' with the kids

The kids were having Valentine's Day parties at school and so we needed to do some baking. For Gavin's class we made heart shaped sugar cookies. Then we decorated them with pink and white icing and tons of sprinkles!

SPRINKLE TIME

For Cole's class we made Devil's Food Cake Cupcakes sprinkled with powdered sugar. We had powdered sugar everywhere, but the kids still had fun.

An anatomy lesson as given by my 4 year old!

Cole: Mom, do you still have milk in your boobs?
Me: No ,not anymore.
Cole: Because you don't have a baby?
Me: That's right, cause mommy doesn't have anymore babies.
Cole: Now you just have water filling them up!
Me: Well... no... there's no water in there.
Cole: Then why are they like that?
Me: Well, that's just the way big girl's boobs are so that when they have babies they can have milk.
Cole: Only girls have boobs, I'm a boy and I have two nickels right here up on my chest!

What will he ask next!

The littlest time travelers!

Mommies little time travelers

Cole and Gavin recently watched Disney's "Minute Men" a movie about 3 boys who invent a time machine. Since watching it Cole and Gavin have wanted to dress and act like the kids in the movie! The kids in the movie wear what essentially appear to be 2 peice snow suits, goggles and gloves. They travel in and out of "time" through a vortex they've created in a garage.

Cole and Gavin love running around the house then falling down and rolling over. Cole likes to then stand up and say "We need to work on our landing!" He's also taken to putting on his coat, gloves and goggles while doing this. Gavin of course has to follow suit! It's quite hilarious, and a blatant reminder of how impressionable they are!

Campaign for change- huh???

I mentioned earlier this year that one of my goals for the year was to be inspired and to inspire. You probably thought that was just a bunch of New Years talk but... with that in mind, I have created another blog. This blog, My boys and me, will continue in it's current format. The new blog is about inspiring others, I encourage you all to visit at http://www.campaignforchange08.blogspot.com/ and take my message to heart! It is something that I have worked hard on, and means a lot to me. Todd has been extremely supportive and encouraging and I think has even accepted the challenge himself! Those of you that know me can expect an email anouncement celebrating the launch of my campaign!
